PETRA MARTIN
For more than two decades, Petra Martin has captivated audiences with her rich, soulful voice and deep passion for storytelling through music. Trained by renowned jazz balladeer Ronnie Wells and pianist Ron Elliston, she refined her artistry at The Elliston Music Studio for Jazz Study while collaborating with some of Washington, D.C.’s finest musicians. Her performances blend emotional depth with artistry, spanning jazz standards, bossa nova, samba, R&B, pop, blues, gospel, and soul to create a versatile and personal musical experience. Petra has performed at distinguished venues and events such as the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, BlackRock Center for the Arts, and the historic Mr. Henry’s, and has appeared on Living Local DMV. She continues to enchant audiences with her expressive vocals, dynamic stage presence, and unwavering love for music. |
