About L’Tanya Mari: L’Tanya Mari is a celebrated jazz vocalist, arranger, and educator whose expressive style and inventive phrasing have captivated audiences for over a decade. A former artist on the Virginia Commission for the Arts Roster, she’s known for her dynamic interpretations of jazz standards, bossa novas, blues, and contemporary gems. Her debut album A Teardrop of Sun earned critical acclaim, and her international performances—including a residency at Bangkok’s Bamboo Bar—showcase her global reach and versatility. Whether honoring legends like Ella Fitzgerald or reimagining classics with fresh nuance, L’Tanya Mari brings warmth, sophistication, and storytelling to every note.
