Come and find out just how much

God and Jesus love you

as we have fun learning.

Bring your friends and family!!!!

We will be:

Egg dying:The egg is like Jesus’ tomb. It is enclosed, it is quiet, and it seems lifeless. Yet within an egg, the promise of new life is waiting to burst forth. Jesus’ tomb was like an egg until early on Easter when Jesus rose up to a new and glorious life. Because of this rich symbolism, we add beautiful decorations to our eggs at Eastertime. Some people say that the egg stands for the huge rock that sealed Jesus’ tomb. By breaking open the egg some say that we are reenacting the rolling back of that huge rock from the tomb, so that Jesus can come forth once more into the bright sunshine of life.

Pretzel Making:When early Christians would pray, they would cross their arms and touch each shoulder with the opposite hand. They also fasted very strictly during lent, making their bread with only water, flour, and salt. A monk shaped this in the form of praying arms for children, and the pretzel was born.

Resurrection Eggs: The Stations of the Cross helps us to remember how much Jesus loves us! It is also a way to tell Jesus that we love him. Jesus carried the heavy cross for us. He died on the cross so that all our sins could be forgiven and we could join Him in Heaven someday.
