JAZZ AT MEADE [JAM]

Because of your enthusiasm and continued support, Jazz at Meade (JAM) has brought live jazz to Alexandria, Virginia for twelve years without interruption. Regrettably, we had to cancel the 2020 and 2021 concert seasons due to COVID-19 and its variants.

Until recently Meade Memorial Episcopal Church was able to open its doors to limited in-person religious services; however, because of the continuing health threat from the viruses and close seating arrangements, the JAM committee decided to forego all jazz concerts in 2021.

We deeply regret losing the 2021 season in which we expected to reconnect with long-time friends and familiar musicians while discovering new artists and new friends. We look forward to seeing you in April of 2022 when we hope to be able to once again, sit close to one another, talk without masks, have a glass of wine and occasionally dance.

All the best to you. Looking forward to seeing you in 2022.
